64th Annual Wenonah Fourth of July Parade. Will be hosted by the Wenonah Lions Club.

Allentown Lions Club 80th Anniversary New York Harbor Sighteeing & Lunch Cruise - The Bateaux New York is docked at Pier 61 in Manhattan and begins boarding at 11:30 am. Cost is $70 per person. Click here for additional information and how to purchase tickets.

Summer Jam – 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the John D. Young Memorial Lions Blind Center, 100 Crest View Ave., Absecon N.J. 08201.  Cost: $7.00 per person. A disc jockey will provide music for dancing. There will be a 50/50 and door prizes. Hot dogs, sausage sandwiches, chips, and soda will be sold.   No alcoholic  beverages will be sold or permitted. DECEMBER 9
59th Annual Holiday Parade - ​The Moorestown Lions Club is holding its 59th Annual Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 7, 2019. The theme of this year's parade is “HOLIDAY OF THE FUTURE.” The parade, which begins at 12:00 noon at the corner of Chester and Central Avenues in Moorestown, will include performances by string bands, bag pipers, the Moorestown High School Band and the Liberty Band. In addition, there will be marching units and floats. Cash prizes will be awarded to the participants in the parade best exemplifying the theme. ​The parade begins at Central and Chester Avenues and travels north to Main Street. It then travels south on Main Street until it reaches Church Street and the reviewing stand where it will proceed south to Memorial Field. Groups wishing to participate should notify Parade Chairman, Peter R. Thorndike, during the day at 856-795-1090 or in the evening at 856-234-7345 to register and secure further information. There is no entry fee and the participation of any Moorestown based organization is welcomed.

All eggs found can be redeemed for cash immediately after the hunt. Special prizes will be awarded for each age group for those who find a gold or silver egg. The Helen L Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children - Lions Work & Visit Day. Lions members and their families are invited to visit the camp on Friday or Saturday April 17-18th.   We will be doing some work on the facility and would appreciate your volunteer help. Visitors are also welcome just to tour the facility by appointment on those dates. We are located in Avalon, NJ  only two blocks away from one of the best beaches in the state.  If you wish to spend time on the beach after your visit or work time then chairs, umbrellas, etc are available.   As a side note, these dates do coincide with the spring run of striped bass (rock fish).  A record-breaking fish was caught off the coast of Avalon last year. If you or members of your Club are interested in visiting our camp, please contact the Facilities Manager  Fred Fynan at (609)234-3624 or send him an email  Sunsalty@msn.com. Letters of credit for volunteer service hours are available for work performed.

Allentown Lions Memorial Day Parade - The Parade is rain or shine and begins at 10:30 AM. Please arrive early and remember Main Street and High Street will be closed. A Memorial Service will follow the parade on the Allentown Grammar school grounds. In addition, prior to the start of the parade there will be a bicycle decorating contest sponsored by the Allentown Business Community Association at 16 Allen Drive.
