I am so looking forward to seeing everyone at the District conference in Vernon. I sure hope members from all the clubs can attend. I wish everyone a wonderful Happy Easter this weekend. News from all around D8, “Inspire through Service ” Sorrento Lions Club : Have been busy planning their big Easter Egg hunt for this Sunday, in Sorrento on Davidson road at 11am sharp. Chase Lions Club : has their Easter Egg’Stravaganza, at Willson Park. Parade of Wheels starting at 10:30 at Pharmachoice, then parading down to Willson Park for the 11 am egg hunt. Gathering 15000 eggs, followed by games, fish pond, prize wheel, hot dogs and cotton candy. Feel free to visit either Sorrento Lions Club or Chase Lions Club and join in the fun. Nor th Shuswap Lions : Are continuing their meat draws all through the summer. Why not pop out to Scotch Creek Hub on a Saturday and join in the fun. What ’s your club doing ? Does your club use Facebook or Instagram? It is a great way to share what your club is doing. Don’t Forget to do your MMR’s before the 20th. April 28 & 29 will be DG Debbie Allan’s District D conference. It will be held at the Prestige hotel in Vernon. This will be the last District D conference, as we will soon be District I under the new redistricting that will happen July 1. Mark your calendar, and plan to attend.

My Zone Chair Visitation Schedule for the New Year, is as follows: North Kamloops Lions - April 18, 2023 Zone Chairs!! A very rewarding experience I am very excited to announce that Leona Pryor, President of Sorrento Lions has agreed to step up to be our next Zone Chair. She is a wonderful lady and will do a fabulous job. Next Zone Meeting is April 22, from 10am-12pm. Mark your calendars Zoom link will follow closer to the day Have you set your Election date yet?
