Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides has many incredible partnerships with organizations that support the mission and vision of LFCDG. One of those organizations is Boehringer Ingelheim, and they truly are a “pawtner” in success. Since 2015, they have supplied our the veterinary clinic with all Nexguard, Heartgard, Spectra, Metacam, and vaccines for both Dog Guides in training and puppies in the foster program at a heavily discounted rate. From the time a future Dog Guide puppy is born till it is ready to go home with its handler as a working Dog Guide, all veterinary care including vaccines and preventive medication such as Flea, Tick, and Heartworm, are provided by the veterinary team at Lions Foundation. With no government support and relying on donations and fundraising, the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides is so grateful to have the support of Boehringer Ingelheim.
