Last week, I attended a ZOOM planning session led by the MD19 GSTC Chair, Lion PDG Peggy Harriman,
where we discussed further ideas of service involvement in our Communities. It was determined that
Clubs should be encouraged to do more interactions and activities at the community level, partnering
with other Service Clubs such as Rotary and Kiwanis. I have seen and experienced many community
joint activities, very successful, with the Community being a better place.
Just a reminder, an important and not well-used segment in MyLion is the planning of future activities.
There are many ideas and planning guides available in MyLion that could be useful to you and your
Club. “Those who fail to plan, plan to fail”: with kind regards to Benjamin Franklin and Winston
Churchill, among many others.
