19-D –3rd Cabinet Meeting by Zoom—February 11, 2023 Minutes DG Debbie Allan called the meeting to order at 9:01 am with 19 members and 1guest present. A moment silence was held in Memory of Cabinet Member PDG Bob Ayotte. DG Debbie thanked everyone for coming on Line this Morning. There were two additions to the agenda, 1. After service in Global Action Team add in PR- PZC Lorne Grigg and 2. Add in a report From 1st VDG –Elect Jennifer Edgar with the Zone Chair reports.. Motion to accept agenda with additions was moved by PDG Norma Bent and seconded by ZC Steve Sweeney. CARRIED Old Business: 1.Motion to Accept Cabinet Meeting Minutes of October 16, 2022 as circulated was moved by PDG Wanda Eddy and Seconded by PDG Joe Nilles. CARRIED 2.Music Therapy for Seniors – PZC Lorne has taken this project off the table at this time. 3.DG Banner for New District- DG Debbie reported that the Banner like we have is no longer available from International. Now each year the DG has their own Banner. It was suggested we look into having our new District I banner custom made and we can add each years DGs name on it. This will start our new history as District 19-I. DG Debbie will ask MD19 if the district banners have to have some sort of uniformity with in the MD. 4.2023 19-D Spring Conference – PDG Debbie Bostock reported that it was coming along well. Costs are very high for the conference room and therefore PDG Debbie moved that the conference could take up to $2,000.00 from the escrow account if needed to cover costs. Seconded by Wanda. CARRIED New Business – 1.MD19 Request for Budget and Finance Committee representative for our District for the present time and to continue on after July 1st for the next 3 years in new District I. During discussion it was suggested to ask Lion Bob Elliott. PDG Pattie Sparks is interested in taking this on. DG Debbie will let MD19 know.
