THE DIFFERENCE - building for the future - this includes an 89,000 sq. ft. building with 
comfortable and fully accessible spaces and dedicated training rooms and classroom plus 36 
accessible and comfortable client bedrooms for people in training with the Dog Guide.. 
Campaign goal is $25 M - the sale of the current training school and administration office 
provides $25M to the building cost of 50M. 
The goal is to raise $25 million with $4.5 million from Lions clubs. To date $1.4M has been 
raised from Lions clubs across Canada. 
With a pledge or gift, there are a number of opportunities to have your/your club’s name on a 
plaque. $1,000+ banner patch 
$5,000+ Permanent donor wall listing. 
$10,000 A kennel 
$25,000 A single residential room, an office or a room in the veterinary clinic 
$50,000 A double occupancy residential room, the pre and post operation area in the veterinary 
clinic, the Diabetic Alert scent preparation and training room 
Donations of $100 or more from individual Lions will receive a special commemorative pin 
Giving Tuesday was successful in raising $157,299.00 - enough for 4 new Dog Guides. 
Remember - It’s important that if a Dog Guide is wearing its harness, they’re on duty and 
cannot be distracted. Dog Guides must focus on the job they are trained to do, and if they are 
distracted, it can potentially put their person in danger.
