Minutes 19-I – 2nd Cabinet Meeting – December 02, 2023 – 9:30 am (PT) by Zoom The Meeting was call to order at 9:34 am (PT) by DG Michael Livingstone with 12 members present. DG Michael welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked them all for coming. Additions to the agenda under old business was approval of the Aug 19, 2023 Minutes and under new business was a statement from 1st VDG Jennifer. Approval moved by ZC Debbie Bostock and Seconded by PZC Margaret Ashley. CARRIED Old Business – 1. Approval of the Aug 19, 2023 minutes as circulated was moved by PDG Joe Nilles and seconded by PDG Joyce Stevens. CARRIED 2. District Youth Exchange Travel Account - a motion was moved by PDG Joyce and Seconded by ZC Debbie giving DG Michael cabinet approval to search for the District Youth Exchange Account and Securities balances and signing officers at Interior Savings Center. CARRIED3. LCI 19-D over Budget for 2022-23 travel reimbursement, DG Michael reported that we can’t take this out of our MD 19 accounts. After discussion it was moved by 1st VDG Jennifer and seconded by PZC Kim Davis that PDG Wanda call Peter and report back to next cabinet meeting. CARRIED New Business – 1. “VDG Jennifer is in hospital at present and submitted a short statement for the meeting. She is expected to return home shortly.” 2. Awards from LCI for Clubs etc, DG Michael reported that he has received these awards late and most of the visits have been done. After some discussion it was suggested that he get them to the ZC’s or to 2nd VDG Chuck Robinson, PDG Joyce and 1st VDG Jennifer for presentation at the Clubs. Environment – CoChair- PDG Joe Nilles PR CoChair –PDG Kim Direnz NPR Hearing CoOrdinator– Hunger – PZC Dorothy Nilles - PR Information Technology – Brian Allan –In Hospital LCIF Coordinator – BC- PDG Debbie Bostock- PR – A motion was moved by PDG Debbie and seconded by PDG Wanda to approve the final report on the District-I emergency grant for $13,553.02 Canadian. CARRIED. A Motion moved by PDG Debbie and seconded by PDG Wanda that District 19-I apply for a $100,000.00 matching LCIF Grant for the Celista Fire Hall equipment. CARRIED There has been $74,000.00 raised so far. LCIF Coordinator – US – PDG Joyce Stevens – PR – There was $4,000.00 Can. raised at the MD19 Convention for MD19 LCIF. Leader Dogs – Kristin Roberts- NPR Leo Coordinator – Hannah Gerard- NPR – DG Michael attended the charter night of the Logan Lake Leos on November 14, 2023. It was a great evening and welcome to our newest Leo Club.
