 Camp Shawnigan 

 Premier David Eby visited our camp and announced a capital contribution of 

$7,000,000 on behalf of the Government of BC. 

 A huge start to our capital campaign!! 

 Summer Camps 

 All three camps are now concluded. 

 Full program offerings occurred in all three camps.

 Funding has been tough, cost of food and wages. 

 Please think about camperships for next year, thank you! 

 Compass Hospitality 

 New employment skills training 

 Easter Seal House is being used as a live training ground 

 First class graduated. 

 Half of graduates have attained meaningful employment already. 

 Class 2 started. 

 Board of Directors activities 

 AGM preparations are under way. 

 Bylaw amendments being considered that will accommodate the MD-19 re￾alignment. 

 Considering reducing number of board directors from 18 to a more 

manageable 10-12. 

 Will take time to transition, perhaps up to 2-3 years. 

 Depends on attrition and recruitment.
