Project Location: Northern Honduras

Project Name: Support Families with Production of Natural Fuel for Cooking

Fundraising Period: July 2023 - June 2025 

Project Implementation: Jan. 2025 - Dec. 2026 

Bob Yoeman has scheduled zoom meeting for February 10th to discuss the CARE 

project proposed for Honduras. 

Clubs are being encouraged to put CARE in their budgets in order to support the 

initiative to raise $40,000 the first year. We are halfway through the Lions year and our 

donations are down but I’m hoping to see more Clubs start submitting their 

contribution this spring. It was suggested that Clubs make one large donation rather 

than 2 or three smaller donations through out the year to cut down on paper work for 

MD19.

Any thoughts or ideas on possible incentives to encourage Clubs to donate would be 

much appreciated.
