Google's Holiday Giving Campaign chose LFCDF as one of the beneficiaries. The campaign 

raised over $22,000and will be directed towards a scholarship to support the journey of an 

Autism Assistance Dog Guide.

Last year total of 80 Dog Guides were graduated across Canada.

It takes $35,000 to breed, train and match a Dog Guide to an applicant. Applicants are given the 

dog at absolutely no cost and are provided life-long follow-up.

Pet Valu became the official sponsor for our fundraiser event the Walk for Dog Guides in 2017. 

They also became our feeding partner in 2018. They provide food for all our Dog Guides in 

training, foster puppies and the dogs in our breeding program.

The annual day for the Walk for Dog Guides is always the last Sunday in May.
