January 2025 Cabinet Report

These past few months, I have attended the multiple District GAT Forum in Chilliwack. I have
attended the month GLT Team Meetings Held by the MD19 GLT. I had the opportunity to
present the LCI Orientation Portion to the Organizational Meeting of the Salmon Arm Lions.
Thank you to ZC Sharon for the invitation.
On the horizon:
1. work with PDG Michael (District Extension Chair) to discover the best way to present
the New Club Development Workshop
2. Explore the best way to provide in-person training to our club officers in the absence
of a spring convention.

i. TRAIN THE TRAINER CONCEPT – develop Teams in 4 (Maybe 5)
geographical areas in our district and train those team members to
deliver the officer training to the areas (this approach might allow for
multiple training times/days)
ii. Have the same team of trainers go to each of the 4/5 geographical
areas.
I would love to discuss this on Saturday if time permits.
3. Apply to the MD19 Foundation for funding to put one of the two models in place
