Environmental Report for February 3rd Cabinet Meeting. At this time not a lot has been gained along the lines of finding out what clubs are doing, specifically in their area for the environment. I have placed an article in the DG bulletin, asking clubs what they specifically are doing. I have yet to hear back from any club. I know from talking with Lions in our district over the years, almost all if not all are doing projects. Projects vary by area, but just some are, tree planting, recycling cans and bottles, highway clean up, taking care of parks, and as the past environment chair, Angus, repurposing materials to new uses. Will continue to try to learn more about what is going on. ALERT Report for February 3 rd Cabinet Meeting At the present time we have $4,838.43 available in the south part of District I. These funds are down in the south, but available for use anywhere in the district if there is a need. The funds are currently in a Chase bank in East Wenatchee, but I would like to move the money to a WAFED bank. There is a Washington Federal bank here in Leavenworth. I wish to do this so I can check on things and amounts easier than going to Wenatchee. I chose this bank, which is different from our personal bank, so there is no confusion about the funds. I will be making a motion at the cabinet meeting.
