GET Report for Meeting – March 15, Wenatchee, WA

General Update:

There is not much to report at this time, as the winter weather and potential poor driving

conditions have led to a slowdown in efforts to establish two new Lions Clubs. Despite these

challenges, progress is continuing, albeit at a slower pace. Club Development Updates:  Salmon Arm Lions Club:

o The effort to re-establish a Lions Club in Salmon Arm is still ongoing, though

progress has been gradual. o The goal remains to have everything operational by June.  Grand Forks Lions Club:

o The club has been on hiatus for the winter. o Plans are in place to restart activities in April with a membership drive. o The goal is to successfully bring back a Lions Club to Grand Forks through

renewed efforts and community engagement. We remain optimistic about these initiatives and will continue working towards our objectives
