Steve Sweeney, First Vice District Governor, MD 19 District ā€œIā€ District Cabinet Report Fellow Lions, First of all, I am happy to report I have concluded my full-time commitment to Elections BC. I still have a bit of follow up to complete but will be retired by March. I was able to begin club visits in November and December. To date I have visited Oliver, 108 Mile House, 100 Mile House, Williams Lake, Prince George Spruce, Kelowna Mission, Ashcroft, OK Falls, Peachland (home club), WestBank, North Shuswap, Chase, Lumby and Lake Country. My wife Shelley who is also the Zone Chair for zone I9 accompanied me on all the visits. She can likely deliver my spiel better than I can now. I was also joined on various visits by PDG Debbie Bostock, ZC Sharon Cain, ZC Bob Elliot, ZC Dawn Brush and ZC Kim Jensen I will be completing the remaining visitations in February and March Overall I was impressed by the activities and spirit of the clubs I visited. I was able to induct new members in several clubs as well as presenting service chevrons to many. It is inspiring to see the impact and activity level these clubs maintain in their respective communities Yours in Service Steve Sweeney FVDG, MD19 DI
