Our Kamloops clubs have been busy organizing a Motorcycle Toy Run for Christmas

Amalgamated in Kamloops. It is happening on September 8th. Aberdeen Lions, Brock

Central Lions, North Kamloops Lions, and Paddlewheeler's Lions are all working on

organizing it. Paddlewheeler's Lions Club has 12 projects already planned for Sept. Brock Central

Lions Club has four in the first half of September. We will likely have our first Zone meeting towards the end of September after all the

clubs get back into the swing of things.

I still have to talk to Dawn about organizing a joint meeting for Chuck's visit here mid

September. We have our Zone celebration BBQ at Debbie Bostock's home on Sunday, Aug 25th. I

will officially introduce myself to the club members in attendance at that event. I was

able to attend the last Zone meeting that Debbie chaired in June so I got a chance to

introduce myself to some of the Lions that were there that I hadn't met before.

I am very much looking forward to being Zone chair in 2024 - 2025 and working with all

the Lions that I get to meet.

I will also not be able to attend the first cabinet meeting at the end of the month unless
