Supporting the conservation of sight; the wellness of the blind or visually challenged; and relief of sickness and disability! 

The Saskatchewan Lions Foundation was formed in 2004 to enable 

the Lions of Saskatchewan to collectively respond to provincial needs.    

The provision of equipment and services directed toward prevention and 
intervention in the area of children’s health and wellbeing. 
 
The support of the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS) Saskatchewan 

The assisting of financing medical treatments not available in Saskatchewan or only available in specific hospitals.          
 
The Foundation may offer bursaries to students with a visual impairment who have proceeded into a second year or more advanced year at a post-secondary Saskatchewan institution. 

Priorities 

The Foundation has as a goal the provision of equipment and services directed toward prevention and intervention in the area of children’s health and wellbeing. The Foundation has as a goal the support of the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS) Saskatchewan, the air medical program serving all of Saskatchewan, initiated and promoted by Lions. The Foundation assists in the financing of medical treatments not available in Saskatchewan or only available in specific hospitals. The Foundation may offer bursaries to students with a visual impairment who have proceeded into a second year or more advanced year at a post-secondary Saskatchewan institution. 

Recognitions

Marvin Chambers Fellowship can be achieved through a personal or club donation of $500 (can be cumulative), designated or undesignated to one of our priorities, to the Saskatchewan Lions Foundation. 

The Fellowship will include a mounted certificate and pin. 

Progressive Marvin Chambers Fellowship can be achieved through a personal or club donation of $500 for an individual who has already been recognized with a Marvin Chambers Fellowship.

The Progressive Fellowship will include a certificate and pin.

Other Recognitions: 

SILVER Cumulative club contributions of $1,000 and over will be recognized by presentation of a framed Certificate of Recognition.  

GOLD Cumulative club contributions of $5,000 and over will be recognized by presentation of a mounted Certificate of Recognition.
