Lions Project Maple Leaf is an activity for Canadian Lions Clubs It is an opportunity to demonstrate to your communityhow proud you are to be a Canadian and a Lion,

How to involve your Club.

Clubs should contact local school officials requesting permission to visit schools in order to present a flag of Canada and a Lions Project Maple certificate, in English or French, to Grade 1 students.

Determine the number of flags and certificates that you need.

Complete the order from, attach payment and mail to the address indicated on the form (please remember to include an email address so that a Canada  Post  tracking number can be provided)

Prepare for your visit

Tell the students who you are; your Lions Club name; what Lions do; the importance of Canada Day and our flag; wear something that identifies you as a Lion

Things to remember

Be positive; present flag and certificates (include teacher)
ask teacher to print student’s name on certificate; encourage discussion
