1923 – Arizona became District 21
1950 – District 21 grew and redistricted into two districts, 21A and 21B.
1964 – Growth redistricted to three district, 21A, 21B and 21C.
1987 – Women afforded full membership as Lions and in 1999 Bessie Heron became governor.
2014 - Arizona's own Joe Preston becomes our Intrenational President of Lions International. .
2020 – Redistricted back to two districts, 21N and 21S, with ten former district 21A and 21C clubs realigned into 21B to form District 21S.
70 PDGs now accrued from 21B with two PDGs now from 21S. 15 PDGs who are now members of 21S clubs were inherited from other districts. While many are no longer with us, what a pool of leaders!
