Lions of Alberta Foundation

Sight Grant Program

The Foundation assists clubs with 25% of the cost for specialized equipment for visually impaired individuals identified by Lions Clubs, such as a computer program for the vision impaired, specialized eyeglasses, braille reader, etc.

The amount of the funding will depend on the proven needs of the individual. The Sight Grant will make funds available to a maximum of 25% of the equipment cost. The Lions of Alberta Foundation will disburse no funding until all funds required are in place and approved by the Foundation.

Upon completion of the application, return to the Program Coordinator. Support of the Lions of Alberta Foundation is subject to approval by the Board of Directors and the availability of funds. Literature, budget, and verification that funds are available with any other documentation to support the need MUST ACCOMPANY THE APPLICATION.

Upon payment for the equipment, forward an original copy of the invoice “MARKED PAID” to the Program Coordinator, Lion Dave Leshchyshyn, who will coordinate reimbursement of the Foundation's portion of the project.
