The Roar Newsletter http://newsletter.nhlions.org/
Dear Lions and Leos,
What a great Mid-Winter convention we just had. Our inaugural Speak Out contest was great; the Service Carnival was a success and you can watch the live stream video if you missed it. The link will be here in the ROAR. ID Dave Wineman and Lion Lindy were highly informative and hopefully were able to get back to Michigan yesterday afternoon. We are starting on the second half of our Lion year. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for working so hard this far and encourage you to keep it up for this second half. We need to continue to keep asking people to come serve their passions with us, so our communities continue to receive the assistance they all need. I hope you have recovered from this winter storm and have been able to stay warm and safe. I am sorry the Portal Training was postponed due to the weather, but I will find a time to present it still. We can have it along with the recruiting training at the District Meeting in March. Speaking of March, we still need Lions to sign up to attend RLLI. It is well worth it for not only your Lion life but your personal life as well. I would love to hear all about your Hunger activities that were done during Hunger week. Please also start thinking about what your club can do during the Environmental Week in April. Thank you to all who are reporting their service. We still can do better though and work toward 100% reporting. We are up to 79% currently. Also, it is time to start thinking about Club Officers and Board members for next year. Elections should happen during April as the officers need to be reported by May 15th . I continue to enjoy visiting your clubs and serving with you during your service activities. Let me know when I can assist you. Serving together In Harmony remains my goal for the year!!
