The Listen Up! Preschool Hearing Health Outreach Program is ready to expand across MD24, and we need YOU to make that happen. Join C.C. Jean Cook and Lion Valerie James Abbott to discuss the important next steps, including identifying a team of program champions and 3 champion clubs in District I and/or District L.

Connecting with your communities through fundraising

This session will explore the opportunities to promote your club and Lions through your Fundraising efforts. Examples of successful fundraising efforts and publicity campaigns will be provided. Contact information with the appropriate clubs will also be provided. Please come with your own stories to share.

Disaster Preparedness MD24GAT

This session will outline a plan to establish a structured response to emergencies and disasters affecting the entire MD-24. The plan outlines coordination efforts, organizational structures, and communication protocols, ensuring that Clubs can effectively assist their communities while maintaining accountability to the Council of Governors. By fostering collaboration among Lions Clubs, emergency agencies, and community organizations, we will strengthen our ability to serve and support those affected by disasters in a timely and efficient manner.

Tap into your Lions Potential

This session will be an interactive round-table discussion regarding the evolution of a Lions leader. Personal examples will be shared of what inspired the presenters to grow in taking an active role in the development of their clubs, the District, and Lions Clubs International. There will be an opportunity to engage with the presenters to discuss the challenges and opportunities they have faced, which will resonate with the audience.

Special Service Project - Coins for LCIF

Each Club is challanged to turn in one medicine bottle filled with coins for each Club member.

The bottles can be turned in at the state convention in the designated area. Clubs without members attending the convention can turn bottles into your District Governor or the Lions of Virginia State office.

The goal is to be the first Multiple District with 100% participation.

Gather your change and help support our foundation.

The MD24 Council of Governors have asked that you take time to review all documents attached. Delegates of the 2025 MD24 State Convention in Williamsburg will vote on the proposed revised MD24 Constitution and By-Laws. Please share all documents with your Club members. If you should have questions, please contact your District Governor or Vice District Governors.
