Members of Amherst Lons Club gathered to check out the Samaritan Purse Christmas boxes. This year, thanks to the club donation, individual Lions, our wonderful Bingo players and friends, 69 boxes were made ready to be shipped out.

Lion Rubin Millard, Park Chair for the Amherst Lions Club park, looks over the goal posts for the new soccer field installed in their park. The netting will be added in the Spring and it will be a go for the children to have games.

During her visit, First Vice District Governor Lion Kim Stewart congratulated the Canso Lions Club on their service to their community and the addition of new members to their club.

During her visit to the Amherst Lions Club, District Governor Jane Gregory presented Mission 1.5 pins to Lions Willie MacDonald and Robert Small for bringing new Lions into the club.

The Fall Cabinet Meet-and-Greet at the Amherst Lions Club was a fun time where Lions danced to a live band and spent time getting to know each other.
