“Leadership is Action, not only Position”. District Lions Leadership Institute is creating Future Leaders by providing effective Trainings to the club leaders on “Leadership Development”. The club leaders have been inspired by these trainings & implemented it by “ Action ! Action ! & Action!
Total 3 such full day Leadership Development Training Workshops conducted in which 160+ club Leaders were benefitted & 2 Workshops for Students of Colleges were conducted in which 500+ youths were benefitted. Total 5 Leadership Development Training Workshops were conducted in District 323A2 so far till date in this year 2016-17.
1st full day Leadership Development Training Workshop was organized by DLLI Committee for Thane area Club Leaders on 17th July 2016 between 9 a.m. To 4 p.m. at The Byke Suraj Plaza, Ghodbunder Road, Thane-W. PDG MJF Lion Bhavana Shah, Dist. 323 A1, Mr. Vilas Mungekar – Corporate Trainer, PDG MJF Lion Rajesh Mehrra, Lion Anand Mehta, F D I Trainer from Dist. 323A2, delivered speeches with their vast knowledge. 60 Club Leaders inspired by this workshop & The total attendance was 90 Lion members.
2nd full day Leadership Development Training Workshop was organized by DLLI Committee for Chembur - Ghatkopar area club leaders on 28th August 2016 between 9 a.m. To 4 p.m. at Bombay Presidency Chembur Golf Club, Chembur- West, Mumbai. Lion Viraf Mistry, F D I Trainer, Dist. 323 A1 , Mr. Vilas Mungekar, Corporate Trainer, MJF Lion Venkatraman, P.P & Consultant, Lion Pawan Agarwal, International Speaker on Dabbewala’s management were the Galaxy of eminent Faculties who immensely contributed with their wealthy experience in their subjects. 50 Club Leaders inspired by this workshop & The total attendance was 80 Lion members.
The 3rd full day Leadership Development Training Workshop was organised by DLLI Committee on 27th November 2016 for club Leaders of Lions & lionesses of Navi Mumbai & Raigad District Area between 9 a.m. To 5 p.m. at Yogi Midtown, Near Turbhe Bridge, Navi Mumbai. The galaxy of eminent faculties comprised Senior Lions, PMCC, PDG Lion Santosh Shetty, Dist. 323A3, PMCC,PDG Lion Dwarka Jalan, Dist. 323D2, Corporate Trainer Lion Vilas Mungekar, Lion Rajpat Tiwari along with FDI graduates Lion Ruchitaa Mehrra & Lion Anand Mehta from Dist. 323A2. The interactive sessions coupled with exercises, kept the participants constantly engaged. Total 48 club leaders inspired by this Leadership workshop & total attendance was 72 Lion members.
All the Three Programmes were graced by Chief Guest, D.G. Lion Subhash Bhalwal, Guests Of Honour, 1st VDG, Lion Hanuman Agarwal , 2nd VDG Lion K.J. Paul, Lioness District President, Lioness Ujwala Khobrekar, DLLI Advisor, PDG Lion Anil Bhise, Special Invitees PDG Lion Omi Arora, PDG Lion Dr. Jayant Parekh, Dist. Cabinet Secretary Lion Mukesh Taneja, Principal Advisor Lion L. Tawari, Jt. Dist. Cabinet Treasurer Lion R. Ballamwar & many dignitaries from Dist. 323 A2.
2 Leadership Development Workshops for Students / Youths were organised for the students of B. N. Bandodkar College, Near Cidco Bus Stand, Thane – W & other for Students of Dnyansadhana College, Nr. Kopri Bridge, Thane –West on 13th August 2016 & on 3rd Oct. 2016 in October Service Week respectively. MJF Lion K.J. Paul, 2nd V D G was the Chief Guest & Leo Manthan Mehta, Leo Dist. President was the Guest Of Honour. MJF Lion Rajeush Ballamwar , Jt. Dist. Cabinet Secretary was the “Keynote Speaker” in both programs who delivered a lecture on “Leadership Qualities” for about 2 hours. Total 500+ youths were benefitted. The Leading club was my home club, Lions Club of Thane Kopri .
The Website of District Lions Leadership Institute was inaugurated / launched by the worthy hands of Chief Guest, D.G. MJF Lion Subhash Bhalwal. This website of DLLI , is the first ever Global website of DLLI District Committee of District 323-A2 linked to LCI, prepared by Lion Anagha Gandhi , D.C. – DLLI, & Lion Ravindra Madurwar, Co-Sec.- DLLI, Dist. 323A2. The Book on “Leadership Development” prepared by Lion Anagha Gandhi was distributed among all Club Leaders . The untiring efforts & hard work of DLLI Committee members under able guidance of PDG Ln Anil Bhise made these Leadership Development Training Workshops “A Great Success”. It was a Team work. All Club Leaders from Lions & Lioness Clubs were immensely motivated by Leadership Assessment, Evaluation & Discussions for implementation. All Programmes were included Breakfast, Tea & Lunch & were concluded with Group Photograph & Tea. The Leading club was my home club, Lions Club of Thane Kopri.
The Slogan of DLLI Committee is “ INSPIRATION & ACTION ”. DLLI Team had successfully created Leaders with Inspiration to Do The Actions ”.
