East Albany Lions Club Sportsman & Gun Show
January 11th & 12th

The East Albany Lions Club will be presenting their 2025 Sportsman & Gun Show at the Linn County Fairgrounds Expo Building in Albany on January 11th and 12th. Admission (12 and older) is $10, with active/retired military $8, under 12 free. The show hours are 9am-5pm Saturday January 11th, 9am-3pm Sunday January 12th. Sporting and hunting supplies as well as new, used and antique guns, knives, military collectibles, ammo, reloading, and much more will all be on display.

 

Lions Membership Growth Workshop with
International Second Vice President Mark Lyon
January 13th & 14th

International Second Vice President Mark Lyon will be coming to conduct a two-day membership growth workshop at the Keizer Lions Den, 4100 Cherry Ave NE, Keizer. MAP>> 

This workshop is open to all Lions of Multiple Districts 36 and 19 to gain insight and tools to help your clubs attract new members. Planned topics include: Mission 1.5 - Mission and Purpose; Global Membership Approach; The Importance of Succession Planning & Leadership Development Focus; Asset Mapping; Partnering with Other Organizations; LCI Support and Resources; AI Intro; Social Media; PR Intro; Hooking Members; and much more!

Pre-Registration is required by January 9th. The workshop is held January 13th & 14th from 8am to 4:30 pm. The registration fee is $20 per person for both days and includes lunches. For more information, please click the flyer and the REGISTRATION FORM>> 

 

 

Second Quarter District 36-R Cabinet Meeting
January 18th

The second quarter District Cabinet Meeting for 2024-2025 will be 10am-1pm, January 18th, at the Junction City Moose Lodge, 427 Front Street, Junction City. Agenda will be available on the Information page.

Any Lion may, and is encouraged to, attend a District 36-R Cabinet meeting.

The 2025 District 36-R Convention will be held on February 8th at the Alumni Center at OSU in Corvallis.

Central Lions Club Crab Feed
February 15th

The Central Lions Club all you can eat Crab Feed Fundraiser will be held February 15th from 5pm to 8pm at the Eola Hills Winery & Tasting Room, 501 S Pacific Hwy 99W, Rickreall. The evening will include live music and a short program. Cost is $50 per person with tickets available online here>>

Lions Day at the Capitol
May 7th

Lions Day at the Capitol returns for 2025! Lions from around Oregon will join OLSHF staff for a day of advocacy at the State Capitol in Salem. Visit with Legislators and encourage continued funding support for school vision screenings. More info to come.

 

MD36 Convention
May 16th-18th

The 2025 MD Convention will be held May 16th thru 18th at the convention center in Pendelton.
